Coopérnico is the first renewable energy cooperative and the only non-profit electricity supplier in mainland Portugal. Fighthing for a more democratic energy transition and bringing together citizens and organizations who want to be active agents in promoting an energy and social model based on the principles of sustainability and energy democracy.
In CisWEFE-NEX, Coopérnico leads WP3 (Energy), managing the strategic direction and ensuring the successful integration of energy-related aspects within the broader project framework. Their work is pivotal in aligning renewable energy initiatives with the project’s circular and sustainable goals.
