The Institute for Global Food and Farming (IGFF) is an interdisciplinary research and policy institute focusing on global food systems. IGFF excels in analyzing agricultural sustainability, resilience, and food security, ensuring that farming practices are productive, environmentally, and socially sustainable.

In CisWEFE-NEX, IGFF will set up a modular unit to produce 0.5 t/year of Ulva biomass, combining shrimp and seaweed farming in a circular system that recycles nutrients and purifies water, showcasing sustainable and scalable aquaculture.
