CisWEFE-NEX has been nominated for the “Prémio Nacional da Água” at the Fórum BPI: O Futuro da Água, taking place on the 27th of February. This award recognizes projects that contribute to the future of water management. CisWEFE-NEX is one of three finalist projects selected for the award, which will be presented during the second edition of the forum.
The “Prémio Nacional da Água” is dedicated to projects that demonstrate innovation and potential for transforming water management. During the forum, a panel of experts will evaluate the finalists based on their impact and contributions to sustainable water practices.
CisWEFE-NEX focuses on integrating circular systems within the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus, with an emphasis on sustainable water management. The project is aligned with European environmental goals such as the EU Green Deal and the Farm to Fork strategy.
The Fórum BPI: O Futuro da Água will provide an opportunity to present the project to key stakeholders in the water and sustainability sectors.
