Lausanne, Switzerland, October 7th, 2025 – The CisWEFE-NEX project was represented at the EPFL Start-Up Day on an exhibition organized by the Forum EPFL Association.
The event brought together students, startups, industry professionals, and research stakeholders to network, showcase innovations, and explore collaboration opportunities.
InnoBoost, a partner in the CisWEFE-NEX project, had a booth where they shared information about their contribution to the project. Their main contribution is IB Flows, a monitoring and control platform that functions like a digital twin, integrating IoT sensors and control equipment to deliver data-driven insights for optimizing WEFE (Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems) management. IB Flows showcases the potential of an innovative, circular solution designed for regions facing severe water stress, such as southern Portugal, where the CisWEFE-NEX demonstrator is located.
The EPFL Start-Up Day provided a platform for stakeholders to connect and discuss potential partnerships, highlighting the importance of collaboration between academia, startups, and industry.
